When I was a little boy, like so many other children, I think, I used to think of nothing else but playing football. I used to daydream with it all the time. I had a dream.

A dream, which among realities and fantasies, possible and impossible ones, failure and hope, ended up offering me a generous and rewarding life, full of wonderful and unforgettable experiences.

The journey, I’m afraid, was one that has had its share of drawbacks, disillusion and some nightmares, but all this becomes insignificant once we compare them to the highlights of the game of my life, football.

Turning the dream into a challenge, and then into opportunities, was what made me never give up, fight and go on fighting, till the day I managed to be part of it.

Football By CQ, on the other hand, is an opportunity that has become a challenge. The one that enables me to share my experience in football, and, in return, give the game, in some way, what was to fulfil the first dream of my life.

So Football By CQ is an entrepreneur proposal with a socially beneficial character, and broadly speaking, which will be able to surprise as well as innovate.

I. We intend to create opportunities so more children and adults of both sexes:

- can play football;

- can learn how to play as part of a team and be able to enjoy life to the full;

- can learn how to live as part of a team and so are more able to play the game in the best way possible.

II. This challenge is going to impose rules to those who wish to play in our team:

- we are not going to win at all costs;

- the dimension and importance of the aims must never overlay the elements which allow us to achieve them;

- Everyone has got to learn to respect values, principles and virtues which identify our team and are not negotiable.

III. Finally Football By CQ is a dream which contains a vision of football, the result of my adventure throughout the game:

- It is imperative to know that it is not humanly possible to win all the time; that the adventure means taking risks and that the exit or failure are not the end of the journey, just tiny steps towards the glory.

What is really important is to know how to manage to be in the pitch always well-prepared so as team we can do our best and be able to win.
